King of the Friend Zone by Sheralyn Pratt
5.0
I loved this!
This book is two-fold: it is book 9 in the Power of the Matchmaker series (which can be read in any order) and the companion/somewhat sequel of the Kiss that Launched a 1000 Gifs.
Fun, funny and full of heart! I enjoyed every minute.
As for the Power of the Matchmaker series, this is a perfect fit and by far one of my favorites! Pearl especially is fantastic in this. One of the fun things with the series is seeing how each author interprets her in a wide variety of settings. Seeing her in San Francisco with her cookie cart was just the right amount of magic.
My quick little synopsis:
Esme is a PR consultant fantastic at her job. Life is great: her best friends are all near her and she has a wonderful boyfriend. And then her boyfriend dates to take the next step and becomes her fiancé.
Hunter has grown up with Esme: they're practically siblings. It's just so happens he's king of the friend zone. Now can he break free before it's too late?
