This book was entertaining enough to get me through a couple of hot summer days when I didn't want to do anything else. The plot was *just* interesting enough that I finished the book, but I found the writing and the characters flat and one-dimensional. There was enough action and twists to hold my attention, but a lot of it was absurd. I liked Elevator Pitch better.
