I’m so glad this was a 5-star read for me! I feel like I’ve been in a 5-star rut lately (or rather, lack of 5-stars) and this book is another recent five for me! I thought the writing was great, our MCs were excellent, and the interconnections were really good. The MMC, Miles, was the best! Daisy was our grumpy goose in this book, but the author did a great job of making her tolerable 😂 I feel like it’s rare for a grumpy FMC to be likable, but it happened here. The spice was 🥵 as well! I’m def going back to read the author’s back catalog, and I can’t wait for future books in this series.
