So many of us know author P.J. Vernon from Bath Haus.
But his debut, When You Find Me, gave me the read version of this emoji 🤯.
It starts out as a regulation domestic thriller - socialite Grey Godfrey's and husband Paul are back at her South Carolina family home for the holidays. Paul goes missing.
 But then...
The pacing is perfection - a slow burn, until reveals and twists pop in to disrupt everything you thought you knew.
Vernon's depiction of alcoholism, and of damaging secrets from the past, are heartbreaking.
That's all I can tell you. Read it!
