I wasn't sure if I was going to love this book, especially after seeing a few people on Instagram who just weren't a huge fan of it or preferred ACOMAF a lot more. I will say that some moments felt slow at the beginning and while I would say I prefer ACOMAF a little more I still absolutely loved this book! Any book that makes me cry or plays with my emotions is a good book to me, and ACOWAR certainly did that. The last 200 pages or so are the ones that REALLY got me. I genuinely don't believe I've ever cried that much over a book. I've fallen even more in love with all of these characters and this world and it was so great to be fully immersed in it again. I can't wait to see what other stories and books Sarah J. Maas gives us in this incredible world she's made.

I definitely think my opinion on this series has changed as a whole. I didn't find myself enjoying it quite as much as I did the first time around. I definitely saw a lot more problems with it. Despite all that I still enjoyed it. I love this world and these characters and enjoyed revisiting some of my favorite scenes in the book. I'm really interested and excited to see where everything goes.
