The Skin Is the Elastic Covering That Encases the Entire Body by Bjørn Rasmussen
3.0
I probably can’t recommend this one to any of my friends because some of the content is rather graphic and taboo, but I did enjoy the book. There’s not much structure to the story. It’s fairly disjointed with some use of stream of consciousness. The description focused on love, which is a large part of the story. Bjorn’s idea of love is clearly outside the norm and he struggles to find the love he’s looking for, but he’s also trying to find an identity and some sense of being comfortable with who he is. I suppose we’re all looking for both of those things, we just aren’t likely to choose the same path as Bjorn.
