I’m DNFing at 35%
I picked it up out of curiosity about what could have been made into a sequel from book 1, and I quickly realized the plot was going to be a carbon copy down to the two kids. Furthermore, the themes didn’t seem particularly more fleshed out. I’m sure people who are fans of book 1 will enjoy this one, but it’s not something I feel the need to read.
