Leah on the Offbeat by Becky Albertalli
4.0
first read 2018
For the most part, I really loved this book, I just had three main problems with it. The first one is that Leah did some things that really annoyed me, she was unnecessarily mean not only her friends but to her own mom, and she never apologizes for it. Also, this is not really the book's fault but, every time we see Simon, I'm reminded of how much I would prefer to read Simon's POV rather than Leah's.
And the main problem that I had was that the romance was resolved too quickly, I don't know if it was because I read this too quickly, but it felt instalove-y. This is definitely my least favorite in the Simonverse.
After finishing the book:
Ahhhhhh! This was so good! I think I need some time to gather my thoughts to write a proper review because if not this will be basically me screaming about this book.
