This would’ve easily been a 4-5 star read but that ending was horrific... like um what? I mean I get that this is a series and maybe there will be A point to it but are we kidding. I also realize that I started with book 3 instead of reading the first 2 but I will say that I didn’t feel like I needed to read the first 2. I’m sure there’s extra detail in those books but this one recapped the past perfectly. Now back to this ending... WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK? Excuse my language but I’m very upset. This book grabbed my attention from the first chapter and I truly couldn’t stop reading and thinking about this book. It was romantic and suspenseful and perfect for young adults (18+ IMO) and it always left me wanting more. Then in the last 10% of the book they managed to fuck that all up (again I just can’t contain my language, sorry) any way, carry on.
