Overall a very disappointing end to the series. Jean Auel still excels at describing the land her characters inhabit, but she seems to have lost the ability to flesh those characters out. Even her main characters have become as flat as cardboard. As for antagonists, they came across as nothing more than high school mean girls. I gave two stars because the descriptions of the cave paintings were quite good.
