Not sure I get the hype on this one. To me this was very predictable and it took until about 80% in to get to the point of interesting plot points. I can see why the next book in the series might be better due to where this one ended but I’m just not convinced there was enough character or plot development in this one to warrant the length. There are definitely some common and fun tropes in here but just not well developed. I could see this being a beginner fantasy romance series. I think I was just seeking more complexity, which I get is not everyone’s cup of tea so give it a chance especially if you enjoy the bachelor.
