I think I had my expectations too high for this novel. I believe I heard the author on fresh air and terry grosses deep soothing voice talking of how much fun this book based around fans of teen heartthrob David Cassidy. I was disappointed. I felt no empathy for the lead characters. I kept waiting to be pulled in and never was.
