A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas

So, how do I start this? I think it was quite interesting to read about the time after war, how they all coped with everything. Before I even started the book I knew it wasn't going to be easy but reading how deeply it affected each and every one of them was heartbreaking to read.
And yet they - kind of - managed to be happy for once ... or as close to being happy as possible. Not preparing for a war or anything else, they just spent time together and were all trying to heal. It was fluffy and cute and gave me all kinds of happy feels but still somaething didn't feel right. Don't get me wrong, like I said, I enjoyed reading it and I know this is more like a novella but ... for the price - which is the same as for the other books... well, I felt a little let-down.
I was disappointed in Nesta though - in A Court of Wings & Ruin I started to like her but now? It feels like we're back at the beginning. Cold-hearted, not caring and bitchy. But I'm really curious to find out more about her - her gift, what's happening to her and that thing between her and Cassian - in the next book. The little sneak peek at the end of the book sounded very promising and seems to be more about those two.
Would I recommend reading this novella? If you enjoyed the previous books - definitely, especially if you're as attached to the characters as I am but don't expect a lot of action or a detailed storyline because you won't get that. Nonetheless I enjoyed it very much!
