YA comic about a mixed-race Cree-Métis kid growing up in Vancouver, who starts having first dreams and then waking visions of life on the plains in the 1800s. It's meant to be relatable and educational without beating you about the head with it, and did a good job overall. The art was lovely, the colour work around the transitions between rainy Vancouver to the glowing golden prairies, especially.

This just came out, so there's not any more yet. I'm not super invested, but I wish it well.
