Long Live Evil by Sarah Rees Brennan

MORE STARS!! ALL THE STARS!! MOST STARS!!
Firstly, I have to admit: I am a real sucker for these stories. I think the first transmigration story I read was SVSSS by MXTX and I fell hard for it - I love the idea of impacting events that feel set in stone, changing characters by offering them either kindness or company or assistance. I can think of plenty of characters I've wanted to hug over the years so I think this fulfills the best of all worlds for me.
Secondly, I loved the characters. I loved the dynamics, I loved the relationships that formed across them, I loved that even characters with little to no screentime mattered so much to me (my fingers are still crossed the flower goes to Hortensia, ever since she showed up in the Cobra's private box I was hoping it would).
Thirdly, I need Key to be... sane enough. If he has to outsource his morals to Rae, I am totally okay with that. I love him and I need this new dynamic to work just as well as the old one did. I don't care what Rae has to finagle to make that happen, but she is smart and Type A and has plans on plans on plans so I trust that she can.
Fourthly, IS THE NEXT BOOK OUT NOW BECAUSE I NEED IT!!!
