Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert
5.0
Personal Ratings : 5 Stars
This book is one huge cloud of romance cliches. I don't give a lot of books a 5 Stars, but this book hits home more than I had imagined.
The main characters, Chloe and Red, had really good dynamics, that their banters really made you smile. What I love about Talia Hibbert is that, she touched on the subject of mental health and anxiety, being both of them had their own personal issues and vulnerabilities, I love that they didn't make this book to be unreallistic and just brush down the problems that the main characters has. No. The author did a good job of showing how they had improved themselves and overcame their vulnerabilities. I love how the Red, the male antagonist has a history of abusive relationship that affects the way he is now. Its refreshing to listen to two point of views that really made you smile.
I loved the book and I would give a 4.5/5, but this book had comforted me so much. I loved reading about Chloe and how she handles her life. Its not easy but they make a good couple. I relate to Chloe so much that, I was reading this book when I'm not at my best state, but gosh its so easy to love them.
Its definitely a light read but touches on really important issues. Would really recommend this to anyone who needs a good laugh but also depth to the characters.
