Crave by Tracy Wolff

I'll be honest this book is the definition of "You can't judge a book by it's cover." The book series intrigued me from the plot and the aesthetic they brought. However, the writing was very difficult to enjoy. In addition it carries a plot of, "My parents just died so now I'm going to a boarding school," but does very little to show the emotional devastation that losing one's parents would have on a person. This is only within the first few pages partnered with the "I don't wanna be here." stereotype. The story builds up a bit, but crashes just the same. Personally, I could not get into this book.
