The True Story of Atticus and Hazel by Fisher Amelie
5.0
I don't know what to say. I don't real blurbs or spoilers at all, so I went in completely blind. I've read everything of Fisher Amelie's that I can get my hands on and the last 2 were light and easy, so I guess that's what I assumed this one would be too. It is not. It was deep, beautiful, painful, devastating, crushing, but then, there was hope and more beauty and love. I cried and my heart hurt, but I loved it. It was so real. Books like this make me happy that I don't read spoilers and blurbs because it would have ruined the book for me. It would have saved me heartache, but I would have missed out a wonderful story.
