Emotional Intelligence 2.0 by Travis Bradberry, Jean Greaves

4.0

Self-help books are my least favorite genre of books, but I had to read this one for my class. Surprisingly, it was addictive and I ended up loving it. It doesn't necessarily advises you what you should do, like most self-help books, but what you should know and be aware of. I was pulled in mainly because of its scientific explanation behind every piece of information provided. It also shattered my misconception about what Emotional Intelligence actually is. With a brief assessment, it helped me figure out my own scores in the four components of EI, which was the most interesting part of the book.

I believe a lot of the people need to read and learn about this. Lack of Emotional Intelligence is what drives relationships sour despite good intentions and feelings.
