This is my first book by this author and it was such a fun read!
As an American it was very fun to read all of the “British English” slang, phrases, etc. I knew some but I learned quite a few new ones!
I FUCKING LOVE that the main characters aren’t baby adults, they’ve seen some shit, been through some shit, done some shit, and they’re still living to tell the tale!
I’ve found that now that I’m in my 30’s, that if I’m reading something that’s not a college romance, I like to read characters closer to my age or older. It hits differently!
Sorcha and Enzo are two boneheads who have some amazing, kickass friends, wonderful careers, and each other; although it takes a little bit for them to figure out how to be together.
I think my favorite parts of the book were the last 20% so many AMAZING things happen!!! I will NOT spoil it, promise, just know that if you need a reason to convince you to read this book, it’s the last 20% of this book! There romance, some suspense, action, and the cutest little side story happening.
I laughed, I cried, I felt allllll the feels! Shalleen has a way with words that makes you feel.
