I LOVED this book. My first 5 star read of the year and I am delighted it lived up to my expectations.

So satisfying for a book to deliver exactly what you hope, isn’t it?

I could go on and on about this book, but to keep it relatively short and sweet: it’s a fast-paced, gender-swapped fairytale retelling with brilliant dialogue, plenty of adventure, humour and romance. It has themes of found family and opposites working together.

An absolute delight. And I loved reading with my pal @bookbeforeuleap ☺️

I would recommend for those who enjoyed the found family, dark humour and adventure of Six of Crows, the fairytale tipped on its head & romance of A Curse So Dark & Lonely and the humour, pacing, and opposites-working-together-against-evil theme in Little Thieves.

This is also a DEBUT. WHAT. Incredible.
