Really fascinating premise and I love the writing progression and the way the story unfolded. It just sucked me in and had me totally invested in what was happening, how everyone felt and the mystery behind it all. It was hard to put down and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
It was a great concept of not only facing a crime crisis you don’t understand, but second guessing everything you know about your spouse, or for Niall, your own judgement. And then the aftermath of that.
I thought the way the writing unfolded in a reflective way was so insightful, it let you identify with the characters completely. Some of the mystery I was able to piece together as we went, and some not till the end. While the story itself was still sad to me, I really enjoyed it a ton. Well done.
Thanks to Netgalley for the advanced copy of this book. All opinions are mine.
