almost a thousand pages never felt so easy to read. everything about this is engrossing; i will give all my life, the world, and more for jonathan strange. that is all i can say about the matter, because to say anything more would be a vast underestimation of the quality of this work. five well-deserved stars, and it merits more than that, to be quite honest.
