I had an absolutely wonderful time with this book. I was sucked in from page one, and then just fell more and more in love with these amazing characters. I really liked the way the chapters were split between past and present, and both plots were equally good. I also loved the way Kai and Ziede interacted with Sanja. Some excellent, hilarious curseword-related parenting there. I really do hope that Wells writes a sequel, because I'd love to spend more time with Kai and the gang.
