Color me surprised when this book starts with the main character walking in on her father with sex workers. Her father was inappropriate on an uncomfortable level. Then he's suddenly engaged to one of his employees.

Tony and Cat were chaotic. I truly don't understand why Cat kept lying and saying Tory wasn't Tony's child. When he asked her point blank, she should have confessed. Tony had to get blood work done to prove it. Cat still tried to lie about it.

It all felt so rushed, which makes sense since this novel is 200ish pages.

Out of nowhere Cat is pregnant with Tony's kid again, and they learn to co-parent. They never really openly date in this novel.

It ends with Tony asking Cat to marry him after giving birth to their daughter.
