Suicide Club: A Novel about Living by Rachel Heng
1.5
This book didn't impress me much - I was hoping for a bit more depth and a stronger science fiction element. The concept of a society obsessed with immortality and how they attempt to get there was what drew me to this novel... unfortunately, it didn't build on any of the why, how, or who, and it also only glosses over the resistance / "suicide club." There was so much opportunity for world building and expansion in this novel, but it missed the mark because it only grazed the surface.
