I first learned about Lecrae as a freshman in college. Being at a Christian University for 4 years his music has been constant around campus. I loved this quote from his book that states, “After truly sitting in the presence of God and submitting to healthier rhythms, I finally feel true joy. I feel peace that overwhelms me and drives out chaos when I wake up. I feel the love that comes from allowing myself to be forgiven without constant shame.” I encourage you to find your joy through God and allow him to take away any shame or pain that you are dealing with.
