Rating was adjusted down a star, as I’m now 7 years older than I was when I first read these books and I’m now wiser; I don’t know why I continue to re-read them, because the further I get the more annoying I find them. Some of the characters are all right, but the books are all over the place with about 8 storylines going on at once and none of them adequate handled in my opinion. Oh, and Jack and Mel are getting progressively meddlesome and obnoxious. Like, hey people, people don’t want you sticking your noses all up in their business all the time!
