WOW. This might have been the creepiest book I read in some time. Every time I thought I'd figured it out, there was another angle and side to the Aldridges. I loved how the Windermere was as much of a character as the humans were.

Is it wrong I found myself feeling bad for Abi? I wish we hadn't had the distraction of Max losing his job as that seemed wasted time that didn't go anywhere.
