Yes! This book opened my world. Padraig collects 50 poems and writes a couple pages of essay for each one. He brings context and explanation and gives the reader new ways of seeing these poems and ourselves. It’s not a book to hurry through - best when reading one poem at a time and feel how it lands on you.
