A Touch of Ruin by Scarlett St. Clair

4.0

AUDIO // Not as ground breaking for me as the first one. Still a good story and I enjoyed the conflicts in this sequel. They felt ever changing which made them seem more real to me. The ✨ spicy ✨ scenes were mostly fun, but I noticed a change in this book. Unless I missed it the first time because I was so enamored by the story, this book had much more serious conversations happening during the sex scenes. It is just a personal preference, but it makes me uncomfortable when sex is used as a tool to release anger or try and figure out a problem. Hence, 4 stars instead of five.
