”Sworn to be enemies. Destined to be each other’s undoing”
If you are looking for a dark academia book perfect for autumn then please add The Temptation of Magic by Megan Scott to your tbr. I loved every second of this amazing book, there’s mystery, hidden identity, supernatural creatures and a forbidden romance that was filled with all the angst and tension, every interaction between Nicole and Kyan was perfect.
✨ Dark Academia
✨ Dual POV
✨ Romantasy
✨ Forbidden Love/ Enemies to lovers
✨ Irish & Celtic Mythology
✨ Supernatural Society
✨ Forced Proximity
The writing from the very beginning pulled me in and kept me engaged from page to page I found it so hard to stop reading and when I wasn’t reading I couldn’t wait to pick it back up. Set in Cornwall this urban fantasy mixed so well with the creative world building we were given and I loved how everything was so well detailed in description especially when it came to the paintings.I can’t recommend this book enough! It does end on a slight cliffhanger ending but it just makes me so excited for book two!
