A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
4.0
[3.5 Stars] I have many issues with how utterly straight and heterosexual this book reads, but I get why everyone raves about it so much. I can't say it was a "fun romp," but I liked where the characters went after picking up the pieces in the aftermath of the first book. Some plot elements felt contrived, okay more than some, but I enjoyed myself. Feyre has bite, a lot of heart, and I found myself rooting for her and her friends more than I thought I would. More than I was actually rooting for the romance even. I love a found family story and a story about healing. I want to see where this one goes.
