The Neighbour's Cat: A Short Story by J.S. Ellis, J.S. Ellis

4*
This was a pretty fun short story told in the point of view of a cat. What makes it even funnier, for me, is that it is a tuxedo cat and I live with one in real life so I could totally picture him while reading this story.
I thought the idea of a thriller story told from an animal's point of view was really neat. If you ever wonder what's up in your pet's head... this is a nice touch. I mean, aren't pets smarter than we believe?
I love how this cat was totally thankful to his owner's love and care and absolutely aware of his owner's... different business in life and the struggle he's got to deal living with both situations. My owner saved my life but, at the same time, he's doing something totally terrible and I know it and can't do much. Oh wait, let me see if I can try this.
There were a bunch of typos and possibly missing a couple words but that's a part of reading arcs, right?
Anyway, it was really short but as soon as i requested it, I started reading it and didn't put it down until the end. Food? What is that? lol
