Such a change from the other Sanderson books I've read. There was no "sanderlanch" and it was not a quadrillion pages long. Instead, it had a very steady pace of action and character development throughout. The ending, although not a huge surprise, was nevertheless satisfying to read.

I enjoyed the voice of Tress and other characters. The only reason I am not giving this book a 5 star rating is because of Hoit. I found his humour just a little to juvenile.
