Overall I really enjoyed the story. Thought the complex characters ' struggles with identity, family and their friendship added a lot to the impact of the plot. The mystery was well paced but there was still an ending  hook/twist. I had some mixed feelings about some of the character choices the during climax but do understand the connection.
