Night Music by Jojo Moyes
4.0
Another fantastic story from Jojo Moyes, I just adore her books and this one didn't disappoint.
What makes this book a success is the well-developed characters. I loved the relationships that formed between them all, my favourite being between Thierry and Byron. I also loved the personal development of both Isabel and her daughter Kitty.
The storyline was not overly imaginative or new but it was comfortable and relatable. The side-plots really formed this idea of village life and I completely understand what it is like to be in a close-knit community.
The only thing I felt that let down this book was the ending. I felt like it was very rushed and didn't tie up all the loose ends. The book was well-paced until the end, maybe I just wanted more from this book!
For these reasons I rate this book 4/5 stars and actually look forward to reading Me Before You by Jojo Moyes which I haven't had the privilege to read as yet.
4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
