Bloody brilliant, a solid 4/5.

There were a few pacing issues, the ending felt quite rushed and there were a couple of places where the narration was a little confusing, meshing memory and present and I struggled to follow the action, but other than that?

I love a damn good haunted house and I love the whole 'world beyond the wall' and shadow worlds vibe - that's what attracted me to the book in the first place and it did NOT let me down!

It's the second book I've read by Schwab, after Addie LaRue, and it won't be the last
