I think the fogginess of the fights is what takes down a notch the overall quality of the series right now. I understand that this is supposed to be a grand battle, but really... I'm underwhelmed. I guess I don't necessarily like big fights, without much to make me care for the characters in the fight. There's no logic in these battles, and the characters are kind of one-sided, making them way too cartoonish. No sense of progress, no sense of strategy employed, and the fights that are not fully explained (like the one between Hohenheim and the dwarf in the bottle) are just... mkay. Not a fan. But it's progress, and I really hope it will end up being good.
