If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. Oh my gosh Batman. This book was everything. Aly and Josh are everything I cannot. This book was so much cuter than I thought it was going to be. I laughed so hard with this little couple. Is is cliché? 100% but it was also a good cliché. Josh and Alt have both stolen my heart. Sweet Aly. Bad ass that doesn’t take shit with the best cat ever. Aly is just like us. Figuring out her likes and hey masked men, I get it. We all get it. She is a kick ass nurse and will do anything and everything to help people. Then Josh, sweet golden retriever cinnamon roll with a filthy filthy mouth, my god. That mask goes on and hello Daddy 🫠. My favorite thing is how Josh went straight into cat dad mode and didn’t think twice. He also just won my heart for the fact that he took a chance and let someone into his life even when it’s the hardest thing to do. It’s the little things like always keeping watch, meeting her because it snowed and she had a long shift and it wasn’t going to be safe for her to drive in. This man fell HARD and I don’t blame him. The man who thought he was unlovable because of who is dad is and then realizing that he also deserves it and him and Aly just get each other. My heart is just so happy when I read this. I have fallen this in love with a book in a while. I could not put it down. The plot was great. The spice was great. Josh and Aly were just everything. This has become a comfort book and I will reread this a million times.
