Take a Hint, Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert

4.5 stars

i love hibberts writing style.

she has such unique characters that all have flaws and strengths and it’s beautiful too der realistic people on books!

i love that it’s a man with depression because sadly that isn’t shown often. and i also love that he works to help show boys that feelings are good and right and should be part of life and that he believes in happy endings.

and i love dani because she’s smart and strong and knows what she wants but also incredibly sensitive and misunderstood.

i also absolutely love that while romance is part of this book series it’s not the main plot point. or at least not the biggest and strongest one.

there is family and careers.
personal challenges and struggles, triumphs and goals that are talked about here. it’s not just a book about romance. this is a book about life.
and romance is (hopefully if your interested in that) part of it at some point .

i love that we saw a strong career woman that works hard not being talked down but rather seen as something inspiring and wonderful!

i did feel that towards the end especially dani went through a lot of changes a bit too quickly.
not because they were unrealistic but because she struggles with showing her feelings for so long, but maybe for some it does work that way, that once they are showing they have feelings that are ready to showcase it to everyone.

i personally found that the sex talk was a little heavy.
not a complained! just a personal preference that i don’t really need to read about “his monster cock”.
but i did love that it erections were treated as a natural reaction and not something bad or wrong and that a woman that knows that she likes sexually isn’t treated badly or seen as something horrible, which sadly happens way to often!

so the sex moments where split for me since it had so many positive moments as well!

this series is great! i love it!

it’s so well written and has so many true sentiments but also a lot of honestly funny moments that will make you grin.

so worth the read!
