This book was the perfect slow burn, fake dating, book with a refreshing take on Fae politics. 

Luc and Rose made such a perfect pairing and I was swooning over Luc so early into the book. The way he interacts with Rose and his family had my heart absolutely melting. 

Overall, this book had a wonderful balance between soft relationship building and interesting plot development. 

The final battle didn't end how I expected and the deity structure in the book was very different than what I’m used to reading. 

I’m very excited to find out what Jillian Witt will do in the next book, especially with the magical mist expanding more and some of the questions that have come to light regarding the gods and goddesses.
