I tried to finish this but I just couldn’t get back into it. I got 50% through and still felt like Lady Macbeth didn’t have much depth as a character, and considering it’s a retelling with the sole purpose of giving her a story, I was quite disappointed. I was excited to read this it just didn’t match my expectations.
