Grave War by Kalayna Price
3.0
Well, this was... the end, I guess. I also struggled to remember the overarching plot and characters because there was so much time between each book, but I at least remembered the main players. Anyway, Alex in this book is... floundering. She never takes action, never does anything, she mostly whines and in the end, is handed a deus ex machina solution. A lot of the plots are not really resolved and she never comes into her own as a planeweaver - which we're repeatedly told is a big deal, but we rarely get to see it. Her whole shtick as a grave witch is mostly abandoned.
So, all in all, it was readable and it provided some conclusion, it just wasn't a very satisfying one.
