Holy Sinner by Darcy Dahlia
4.25
Okay, so I do feel like this one could have been a little shorter...or at least gave us more in the the ending area...the beginning to ending felt a little imbalanced.
Perhaps its my own trauma issues...but man I really wish that the evil in this book was forced to grovel...to truly feel and understand the pain...I know its not realistic because narcissists are incapable...but down wouldn't it be nice?
Overall I adore this duology...even though it made me think about things, and people, that I prefer to keep out of my mind... ... it was also therapeutic seeing someone get to face their abuser and finally having the backbone to yell right back and get all those words out that most of us dream of...to be able to realize that your demon is just a pathetic excuse for a human...there were so many feelings of Kit's that I related too though I'd rather avoid my narcissist than face them...especially knowing that they'll never recognize the pain and trauma they gave me...but instead find some way to place all their problems on me...like they've always done...
