We Are Electric: Inside the 200-Year Hunt for Our Body's Bioelectric Code, and What the Future Holds by Sally Adee

5.0

Really enjoyed this work of science and technology history. I initially thought of Whitman singing the body electric. Adee describes relationships between the discovery and introduction of new concepts in understanding the electrome of life, and the circuitous progress of creating tools and techniques to pass scientific rigor. There's also discussion of scientific fields of study to generate the foundations of these inquiries. She has a sense of humor and has done enough research to know that there are still unknowns out there, and people still have lots of questions to pose.
