Theme Music by T. Marie Vandelly

5.0

Listen I am a person that reads a lot of twisted things and doesn’t mind the messed up! But Theme Music I couldn’t read in my house alone at night!!! My BF came home and asked me if I had read and I told him I was too scared!

This book is equal parts thriller, horror, and tragedy but it was so good! I am looking forward to discussing it in a buddy read I’m doing this month because I have a lot of feelings on it (and I need to be reassured that I’m not that much of a wimp).

Theme Music follows the life of Dixie Wheeler who survived the brutal murder of her family 25 years ago. The murder itself is described very vividly and if that seems to be to much for you, this book might not be your cup of tea.

But if you can get past the blood, at the heart of this is something so tragic and pure and well written. When Dixie moves back into her family home (WTF) creepy things start happening to her and tbh I was probably just as confused as Dixie was! Is she possessed? Is the house haunted? Why do people keep disappearing?

By the end, everything was tied up so nicely and if you follows the clues like Dixie you might have figured it out too!
