Do You Dream of Terra-Two? by Temi Oh
2.0
I wasn't looking for a realistic space book, but there was so many contradictions it's really hard to overlook. These kids are a fraction of a fraction of an elite space school. How is each character so unprepared for every aspect of space? They fail a drill on the first day in space, they complain about the food constantly, they cannot comprehend that perhaps the mission can go wrong, and so, so much more.
On top of that this book was just simply boring. Maybe a bit too teen lit for my taste considering all it felt like all I was doing was listening to teenagers whine. I would be hard pressed to call this a space book, more so a book about your six most annoying classmates in high school who just so happen to be on a spaceship.
