this books explores the dark inner thoughts of motherhood. Things that many mothers experience just portrayed in a dark and gruesome way. Not intolerable in anyway to read as I don’t like really gory or gruesome things but times where it is definitely disturbing but even the character acknowledges that. Not a page turner but a reflective book that reminding me of something I may read in a literature class. Excited to now watch the movie!
