OH. MY. Saint might be my new favorite lord. This is a rollercoaster, I'm pretty sure I had a panic attack and a heart attack while reading this.  The moment it landed on my kindle I jumped in head first and finished it in one setting.

Ash is the daughter of a spade brother which means in their secret world she must be a virgin for her lord,a next generation spade, when she was taken as a chosen. Her mother is sure she's broken the rules since she's a party girl and watches porn. Life charges and we make decisions question are right for the rest of our lives. Ash made one of those when she chose to run from her lord. Life on the run is never fun but she found her safety at Glass, a high class strip club in Vegas.(Dark Kingdom fans 😉)

Saint in one of 4 next generation spades. The lords world is already dark but the spades portion is darker. Carnage is where the lords that break the rules go to be punished. It will one day be partially his kingdom when he and his 3 "brothers" take over after their fathers. His chosen was his world, until he left him. After that day he was on a war path for revenge. He will get her back no matter now long that takes.

Part 1

After all the lead up in the prior books I ate this part of the story up. Gaps were filled and I loved every moment of it. The story of the time Ash was Saint's chosen was 1 HOT and 2 well told. When I say my heart was Ripped from my chest, I mean it.

Part 2

Holy craziness. My heart was ripped out again, stomped on, then glued back together in the best way. The revenge story line was *Chefs Kiss*. Angst, banter, punishment, so, so damn good. Now I sit and pout waiting on the rest of the spade brothers and kings stories.
